    I have never heard of Ayurvedic and what they do before reading this article, but it is strange how all these things seem to have originated in Eastern countries. I love that it all uses natural ingredients and herbs, so that alone says the practice is good for you.

    I am going to try some of the neem oil. My daughter has scaly patches on her scalp so I hope this will do the trick. Have you tried it, and does it make your hair greasy?

    I was first introduced to Ayurveda  and the principles of this ancient healing practice, when a very good friend of my son studied Ayurvedic medicine. So to see that it can also be incorporated into my beauty regime, is fascinating and exciting, as I thought it was more for health. But of course, what we eat is connected, to our skin and ageing.

    I have had the pleasure of a hot oil head massage, (done by my son’s friend as part of her training) which did leave my hair coated in oil, but beautifully nourished for weeks afterwards. 

    Should one incorporate Ayurvedic supplements in your daily diet, rather than just using it in external products? I have used Ashwagandha as a supplement in the past, but it was more for stress management. So should I continue with it to improve my skin as well, as it could be anti-ageing? Thank you.
